Renovations To Dream Vacations

  • Posted on

The first few months of 2021 were a busy time for us as we renovated and upgraded 2 of 4 of our vacation homes. When there’s a break in the schedule, there are 2 options. Wait or get to work. It’s more our style to get to work. And boy are we glad that we did!

Tipsy Topsail Renovations

We started with a walk through of Tipsy Topsail๐Ÿน. Admittedly, there were a few items in the home that needed a refresh. From structural needs like a ๐Ÿก new roof, to cosmetic wishes like new ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ furniture and paint, Tipsy Topsail received the attention it needed and now is fresh and ready to host guests again!

Sound Move Renovations

Our Sound Move property was originally a duplex with 2 separate living sides. But over the last few years, we started noticing more families were booking both sides together. ๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿ‘ง‍๐Ÿ‘ฆ This pattern got us thinking, "How could we make the space better for larger groups?"

After designing the new layout, we got to work on the changes. ๐Ÿ”จ We found it best to open up the main level to create a larger kitchen from the two small ones. Additionally the dining space was extended, making room for a coffee/wine bar. โ˜•๐Ÿท New furniture, flooring, and paint wrapped up the project. ๐ŸŽจ

This single space now ๐Ÿ›๏ธ sleeps 13-19, has ๐Ÿ› 6.5 baths, 2 hot tubs, ๐ŸŒŠ1 private salt water pool, and ๐Ÿฅฉ 2 outdoor grills.

Our hope for Sound Move is that large families will have plenty of ๐Ÿงกconnected๐Ÿงก space to make memories!
